Welcome to vgo.org.vn (the "Website"), operated by VietNam Global Outreach ("V.GO", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our Website, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through vgo.org.vn, such as information about and applications for international volunteer programs, cultural exchanges, and related services (collectively, the "Services").  

Please read these Terms carefully before you start to use the Website. By accessing or using the Website or our Services, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms and our Privacy Policy (which should be provided as a separate document and linked here). If you do not agree to these Terms or the Privacy Policy, you must not access or use the Website or our Services.

1. Description of Services V.GO provides a platform that connects Vietnamese individuals with international volunteer opportunities, workcamps, and cultural exchange programs hosted by partner organizations around the world. Our Services include providing information about these programs, facilitating the application process, offering membership options, and providing support services such as pre-departure guidance. V.GO does not directly operate or control the international host organizations or their projects.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

• To use certain Services, such as applying for programs or becoming a member, you may be required to register for an account or provide certain personal information.
• You must meet the age requirements specified for each program (e.g., for youth programs or general volunteer projects) and any other eligibility criteria.
• You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by any registration or application forms.  
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify V.GO immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.  

3. User Obligations and Conduct As a user of the Website and Services, you agree to:

• Comply with all applicable local (Vietnamese), national, and international laws and regulations.
• Provide accurate and truthful information during the application process and in all communications with V.GO and host organizations.
• Behave respectfully and responsibly when participating in programs arranged through V.GO.
• Understand and accept the risks associated with international travel and volunteering, including but not limited to health, safety, and cultural differences.
• Not use the Website for any unlawful or prohibited purpose.
• Not to impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

4. Program Applications, Fees, and Payments

• Application Process: You agree to follow the application procedures outlined by V.GO for each program. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into a program.
• Membership Fees: V.GO may charge membership fees for access to certain services or benefits, as detailed on the Website. These fees are payable as described and are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
• Program Fees: Many international volunteer programs require a program fee payable to the host organization. V.GO will provide information on these fees, which typically cover accommodation, food, and project-related costs at the host location. These fees are set by and paid to the host organizations, potentially facilitated by V.GO.
• Other Costs: You are responsible for all other costs associated with your participation, including but not limited to airfare, visa fees, travel insurance, vaccinations, personal expenses, and any local transportation not covered by the program.
• Payment Terms: All fees must be paid in accordance with the terms specified at the time of application or registration.
• Refunds and Cancellations: Refund and cancellation policies for membership fees and program fees will be specific to V.GO and the respective host organizations. Please review these policies carefully before committing.

5. Intellectual Property Rights The Website and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by V.GO, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by Vietnamese and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. You are permitted to use the Website for your personal, non-commercial use only, related to seeking and applying for volunteer and exchange opportunities.  

6. Third-Party Links and Services The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services, including those of international host organizations. V.GO does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that V.GO shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.  

7. Disclaimers

• No Guarantees: V.GO makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate information but does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information about international programs. Program details are subject to change by host organizations.
• Assumption of Risk: Participation in international volunteer and travel programs involves inherent risks. V.GO is a facilitator and is not responsible for the safety, conditions, or actions of third-party host organizations or for any risks, damages, injuries, or losses incurred during your travel to, from, or participation in any program.
• Travel Documents and Insurance: You are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary passports, visas, medical examinations, vaccinations, and comprehensive travel and medical insurance.
• Website Availability: We do not guarantee that the Website or any content on it will always be available or be uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Vietnamese law, in no event will V.GO, its affiliates, or their licensors, service providers, employees, agents, officers, or directors be liable for damages of any kind, under any legal theory, arising out of or in connection with your use, or inability to use, the Website, any websites linked to it, any content on the Website, or such other websites or any services or items obtained through the Website or such other websites, including any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, personal injury, pain and suffering, emotional distress, loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of business or anticipated savings, loss of use, loss of goodwill, loss of data, and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract, or otherwise, even if foreseeable.  

V.GO's liability in connection with any claim arising out of or relating to the Services shall be limited to the amount of any membership fees paid by you to V.GO for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.

9. Indemnification You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless V.GO, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Website, including, but not limited to, your participation in any program sourced through the Website, any use of the Website's content, services, and products other than as expressly authorized in these Terms.  

10. Termination V.GO reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the Website and its Services, without notice, for any conduct that V.GO, in its sole discretion, believes is in violation of these Terms, any applicable law, or is harmful to the interests of other users, V.GO, or third parties.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of, or related to, them, their subject matter, or their formation (in each case, including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vietnam, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule.  

Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of, or related to, these Terms or the Website shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts of Vietnam. [V.GO should specify the city/province if desired].  

12. Changes to the Terms of Service We may revise and update these Terms from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them and apply to all access to and use of the Website thereafter. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes. You are expected to check this page frequently so you are aware of any changes, as they are binding on you.
